Manage Park City delivers a curated high touch approach to vacation rental management. This means fewer homes, higher care, and unmatched guest experiences. It’s not about the numbers – above are all properties managed.

Based in Park City and on the ground every day, I’m close by to handle anything that comes up, from guest emergencies to last-minute owner requests.

The Co-host Model: Transparency and ownership

The Co-host model provides you with control and transparency of your Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com listings, pricing, communication, etc. And you maintain ownership of your reviews! I act as a “Co-host” and will manage everything end-to-end but welcome you to follow along or get involved as you would like.

Listing Setup & Optimization

Create and/or optimize all parts of your Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com listings to increase bookings.

Professional photography and furnishing available.

Setting, Optimizing Prices

Set competitive rates to maximize profit, optimizing rates on a regular basis to account for seasonality, trends, and other factors.

Calendar & Booking Management

Manage your calendar, providing prompt replies to all inquiries and questions, and proactive follow-ups with the goal of maximizing bookings.

Guest Communication

Take care of all communication with guests before, during, and after stays via messaging, phone, or video. Focus is on 5-star reviews, repeat guests.

Onsite Guest Support

Handle any questions or issues that may arise during stays, from giving custom recommendations to dealing with repairs, outages, or damage.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Oversee cleaning, supplies, and repairs to ensure property is guest-ready.

Property management (i.e., snow removal, hot tub care) available via trusted vendors.

Licensing

Help with research and, where relevant, file applications for any necessary permits or licenses (e.g., short-term license for Park City or Summit County).

Additional Services

Assist with whatever else is needed to make sure your guests have an incredible 5-star stay while maximizing your revenue.


Co-Hosting Fee / Pricing

Every owner receives full support: listing creation, guest inquiries and communication, local concierge-like guest services, cleaning management, and on-the-ground support for any issues that arises. No surprise fees, no upcharges, just straightforward service keeping your home (and guests) in top shape.

Owners are responsible for costs related to supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap refills), repairs, maintenance, and operational costs (e.g., licenses, HOA). In many cases we’ll pay on behalf of the owner and invoice for future reimbursement.


Meet Austin, Manage Park City Founder

Hello! My name is Austin Lau. I was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado but have called San Francisco, Washington DC, Delhi, and Hong Kong home. After living in the Bay Area for 10+ years, I moved to Park City in 2018 – came for the skiing and outdoors but stayed for the community and pace of life.

I purchased a condo in Old Town Park City in 2018 and wanted to rent it out when I was away. After meeting with companies of all shapes and sizes, I engaged a series of rental management companies over the next few years.

Their focus on volume started to negatively impact my revenue – negative reviews, subpar guest experience, and ignored maintenance needs. Disillusioned and disappointed with this, I also realized I was paying far too much.

So in 2021, I decided to start managing the condo myself.

Passionate about providing a best-in-class guest experience for those coming to visit the town I love, I started helping others with their properties. And that’s where Manage Park City was born.

I offer personalized, high-touch short-term rental management, where clients and their homes are not just a number but places I treat as my own.

Because I’m local on-the-ground here in Park City, I’m able to personally oversee your home and quickly resolve any issues – no call centers, no delays, just responsive support from people who know Park City inside and out.
