Meet Austin, Manage Park City Owner

Hello, I’m Austin

I was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado and spent over a decade living in San Francisco before making the move to Park City in 2018 – came for the skiing and outdoors, stayed for the community and pace of life.

I’m not a property management company that happened to expand into Park City. I’m a Park City local who built a property management company because I saw how it should be done, and how rarely it actually was.

Why I Started Manage Park City

When I became a short-term rental owner myself, I experienced firsthand what most property management looks like from an owner’s perspective: slow communication, opaque fees, a sense that your home is just another line item on a spreadsheet, and a rotating cast of people who don’t really know your property.

I created Manage Park City to be the opposite – hands-on, transparent, and genuinely owner-first. By keeping our portfolio intentionally small, I’m able to give every property and every owner the attention they actually deserve.

By the Numbers

hese aren’t marketing claims — they’re the specifics that matter when you’re deciding who to trust with your property:

  • 4.9+ star rating on Airbnb across my portfolio of managed properties
  • Airbnb Superhost: a status earned through consistently high guest ratings, low cancellation rates, and responsive communication
  • 5+ years managing short-term rentals specifically in Park City — not just living here, but actively managing properties, optimizing pricing, coordinating guests, and handling everything that comes with running a successful STR
  • Only 7 properties managed across Park City and Summit County, including Old Town Park City, Deer Valley, Hideout, and surrounding neighborhoods
  • Boutique by design: I’ve intentionally kept the portfolio small so every owner gets real attention, not a support ticket

How I Work With Owners

Every property in the Manage Park City portfolio is personally overseen by me – not a junior staff member, not a remote coordinator, not a call center. You’ll have my direct cell number. I’ll know your property. And when something needs attention, I handle it personally and quickly.

I prefer the co-host model, which means you retain full ownership of your Airbnb and Vrbo listings (your reviews, your guest history, your Superhost status) while I handle everything operationally. If we ever part ways, you keep everything you’ve built. No starting over from scratch.

Some owners want to stay closely involved — reviewing pricing, tracking performance, weighing in on decisions. Others want to hand everything over and hear from me only when it matters. I work well with both approaches.

Let’s Talk About Your Property

If you own a vacation rental in Park City or Summit County — or you have a property you’re thinking about listing — I’d love to learn more about it. The first step is a free, no-obligation revenue evaluation where I’ll walk you through what your home could realistically earn and how I’d approach managing it.
